Pipeline

The other day when we went to Foodland to get some groceries, we stoped by Pipeline to check out the waves since a storm was starting to roll in. They were the BIGGEST waves I have ever seen, I thought for sure some people were going to die out of all of those crazy people out there surfing! The ocean was silver and the waves were so HUGE that they were making billowing mist everywhere, it was the prettiest sight ever! and what did I not have around my neck... that blasted camera. Dang it! That moment is forever embedded in my head, at least I hope it stays because I don't think I will ever see that again. Since then we have visited Pipeline everyday to watch the surf competition and hope to see some massive waves again. Here are a few pics from hanging out there. We found an almost dead crab that the girls thought was their little pet.

dreamy

Bella loves dresses just like her mama, and every day she asks to wear one of mine.

love loves

My two beauties! We had a lovely walk on the beach yesterday, just the four of us... followed by eating Oreos in the hammock. It was a perfect day!

A day at Turtle Bay

Although we did not see any turtles, we saw plenty of colorful fish while snorkeling in the reef. Bella couldn't wait to use her underwater camera, but I don't think she used it underwater at all. She took photos of the sand, rocks, water and sun. She also found a friend to play with, and Coco sat and ate snacks with sand on them.

photos by Bella

This was taken after our hike. Ben and I crashed on the grass, and Bella instructed us on what to do and how to pose.

Bella has been wanting to take photos with my camera, since she watches me carry it around everywhere we go so I have let her have fun with it. We had a little photoshoot while coco was sleeping. Of course I had to add a little something in photoshop but she is getting quite good at handeling the camera!

new days

These photos are from a little trip we took to Waiamea valley. It is like the garden of Eden! Peacocks gallivanting around, smaller birds singing in the many and various trees, flowers bursting with color, and a big waterfall you can play in.

oh see, I really am here! there was a man kind enough to offer to take our photo.

This is Bella with daddy going out to the water fall. she almost made it there but fell in and wanted to get out.

I didn't know what to call this post, I just thought I needed to post a few more pics. I lost my camera cord that downloads to the computer, so it has taken a bit longer than usual to post something. We have been enjoying the warm days, visiting different beaches, Waiamea Bay, Sunset beach, Turtle bay, watching all the surfers and just being lazy! I feel so lazy lately, and though it has been nice, I really need to make something, now if I would have just brought that sewing machine!

I adore this kid!

Coco under one of the outdoor showers. She loves to shower!

My Lela is growing up right before my eyes! it must be the sunshine. I can't seem to get enough of her lately! she is so scrumptious and sweet. I love that she goes limp and melts in my arms when I hold her!

oh yum!

Lela didn't care for the shrimp, but she sure does love her yellow shoes!

We found this place along the side of the road as we were taking a drive and thought we would stop and try it out. They catch the shrimp right there in the water, then cook them up for our enjoyment and oh what an enjoyment it was...so delishiouso! I am craving it already!

There is beauty all around!

We finally got a picture with a sea turtle!

Bella made the turtle a sand and leaf sandwich.

A creature from around the premises.

A picture can't really capture all the sences involved with this moment!

It's been incredible to be in such a beautiful place and I find myself already so adjusted that I sometimes have to take a step back and really see from an abstract eye, the beauty that is all around me, including my girls and hubby! I feel so blessed!

happy days!

Since we are up so early here, we like to take a walk down the beach and watch the sun come up. Olea will now only hold Bella's hand.

The girls favorite thing to do besides building sand castles is running down to the water and waiting for the wave to come in, then running away as fast as they can!

A rainbow came to add just a little more beauty if it's possible and once Olea saw it she took off walking towards it and was determined to touch it! she threw a fit when I ran after her and brought her back! she just kept yelling, eenbow eenbow!

I love how the light couldn't help but adorn the princess Bella with a halo and bracelet!
