Fall
I am loving the Fall, who doesn't love this time of year? The family took a trip up the canyon to enjoyed the burning colors covering the mountains. We ended up at Cascade Springs where we found all kinds of creatures. First was one of those fuzzy caterpillars and another was a snake, both loved equally by Miss Bella.

What I missed
This is what I missed while in San Diego. The girls went to their cousin Audriana's birthday party where they dressed up, had their hair and makeup done and walked the runway. Special thanks to Danny for taking photos and to Jan and Mom for babysitting!!

A weekend in San Diego
It was the Opening of the Bella Mesa Art Gallery in San Diego on Saturday. A night to remember! the Gallery is beautiful with many great artists, including the amazing Ben Mcpherson!! After a day full of Limo riding, frisbee at the beach, delightful food, fancy hotel service, and gelato, I felt like rockstars wife and I kinda enjoyed it!

The artists that came with us. Brian Kershisnik, Chris Young, Sean Diediker, the Owners Tracy and Gabe, Sunny Belliston, Justin Taylor, Aaron Bushnell, and Ben Mcpherson. Seriously talented lineup!

is that a double chin I'm acquiring?

Happy 5th Birthday Bella!
My Bella turned 5 years old on the 23rd, and she is every bit grown up as a five year old should be! This year she had a party with family and a few friends. She got her Razor scooter from Dad that she has been wanting and waiting for patiently for a while now and she even got pink cupcakes with red sprinkles! I love you, miss Bella!, more than all the flowers in the world!
The party girls!

These photos were taken about 10:00 at night, she was loving playing with all her new makeup and hair trinkets!

A big thanks to Leah and Gina for all your help!

Bella's first day of school
So I am a week late at posting this, as usual! Bella was so excited to start Preschool for her second year! She is going to center stage, where they teach in addition to regular academics, Tae-Kwon-Do, dance and voice lessons. At first she told me that she did not want to do karate, but after trying it, she loved it! now my challenge is to find something for Olea to do and get excited about while sister is at school!
first day, Bella picked out every detail of what she wanted to wear!

second day, her choice again, why doesn't she want to wear her new clothes?

Sisters! coco was getting a bit jealous!

me want um picture too!

Friends and Popcicles!
Leah, Isaac, and Lucy came over for a little visit the other day, after lunch, they ended up on the porch with popcicles in hand, it was too cute to pass up a photo!
Corn harvesting
We went to Grandma and Grandpas to harvest some corn from their garden. The girls loved to help, they thought it was a corn carnival with all the different stations. Ben came up with a moto for us,... Pluck it, shuck it, blanch it, and tuck it. First you have to pluck the corn off the stalks, then shuck it off the cob, then boil it (blanch), and finally put it in freezer bags (tuck it). Afterwards we went down the lazy river, next to Yuba lake. I didn't get any photos but we had a grand time! Mom even fell in!

Here is a photo of the girls with Mom. They just happened to all be wearing red and white that morning.

woo-de-woo, Jacklyn!
This gorgeous lady was amazing to shoot as you can see! It was a photographers dream, and although I don't call myself a photographer, I felt super luck to be snapping away in this moment! ... the dress, the model, the lighting, I wish the sunset never finished setting! but it did, and then we had to go home.

The Felsings
I am so sad because my Sister-in-law & family are moving to Cambodia this Saturday! I am still in denial, and have been since I found out, but it is for-real, and I am going to miss them so, SO MUCH! look at these sweet faces, how could she take them away from me?!! :( p.s. We would have had Dan in the photos but is is already in Cambodia.

Family Reunion 2009
I always post things at least 3 weeks after they occur! So here are some photos of our fabulous camping trip at Grandmas house on the peninsula of Northern Idaho, simply heavenly in my opinion! as I was loading the photos, Olea kept saying she wants to go there again right now! and now she is balling because I told her she has to wait a year! We had so much fun, minus the 17.5 road trip there due to Gina and John's car breaking down! and me being sick with a cold the whole time! but it all worked out and we had a blast!

We had the special privilege to watch Tara's twins get baptized in the Lake! I too was baptized there on my birthday when I turned eight, and it was fun to sort of re-live that moment!
