1st day in paradise!

while the guys were out getting surf gear and Olea was crashed, Bella and I explored the yard, pool, hot tub, and hammack. She told me that this suit isn't modest, but its o.k. to wear it when no people are around! she still doesn't let Ben go swimming without a shirt!

I love seeing this ball of energy come to a complete stop for a couple of hours!

The flight was way too long, but the kids did O.K. When we arrived here in Hawaii, we were all smiles! we gained an extra 3 hours, which made it even better! Our home for the next two months is better than I imagined! it has it all! We explored the house first, and found that it has a perfect studio for Ben and Sean to paint in, and the hot tub is just perfect for me! Next we explored the beach and almost tripped on a huge turtle as we walked onto the sand, and of course I didn't have my camera. We have adjusted pretty well, except the kids are up at 4:00 in the morning, so we have been watching the sunrise on the beach. Ben and Sean didn't waste any time getting a rental car for the month and buying some surf boards. All in all it was a dreamy day.

Finally! I have been waiting for baby Jane to get here for nine months now, and she is everything I knew she would be...lots of black hair, looks just like her mama, so sweet and perfect! we now have a new niece! we love you Jane Taylor!

Baby Mikey and Baby Jaycee

Doug and Sarah came into town last week. They brought their new baby Mikey, which looks exactly like Doug! and their other two beautiful boys! Sarah's twin also came with her new baby Jayce and Hubby. We took a bunch of pictures at my house. It was so fun to hold those new little ones. They were so tini and squishy, oh joy!

These two girls are growing up way too fast before my eyes! I laugh at the things that come out of their mouths lately! Bella was sitting by Ben last night watching TV and layed on his stomach and said "Dad, I like laying on your tummy because it has no bones in it", and Olea wants lip gloss all day long!! but she calls it wips (for lips). She found the Paper towels in their package and used them to climb up on my dresser and find the lip gloss. Then she runs and hides so she can eat it. If she can't find gloss, then it is lotion. She loves the flavor of lotion! should I call poison control? I have debated, but she has been fine so far. I just need to find a new hiding location!

Big family Christmas party held at Danny and Jan's new place. Everyone came, we all ate too much and laughed alot!

At grandmas house the weekend before Christmas, Santa came around in a big firetruck to all the homes in the town that have kids and handed out bags of candy, We were the last home, and we had waited for an hour in the cold with my camera, and for some strange reason, I just forgot to snap a photo. geez, I make myself mad sometimes!

It has been forever since I have posted, but I just haven't been in the blogging mood, its January and it very dreary, outside anyway! I have spring fever, it always happens the day after New Years! and I have been preoccupied with cleaning out closets and getting organized before we leave for two months.
