Paul and Katie

These two are some of my favorite people! While in New Mexico I was supposed to get some family shots with adorable baby Norah, but she was sleeping so we snuck out and took a few of just the two of them! The wind was blowing a bit but made for a glamorous Katie do! aren't they beautiful?!

Santa Fe style

I absolutely Love Santa Fe! I get so excited to visit every 6 months for Ben's gallery show! This year was especially fun because my cousin Jessica and her husband Ben came with us. When we got there, we decided to go to the gallery (Blue Rain) and say hi and check out how they hung Ben's paintings. We got there on the 3rd at about 5:30 pm and when we walked in there were a ton of people, and we thought there must be another show going on tonight, but come to find out, it was Ben's opening night that we thought was on the 4th. So there we were in shorts and tee's and hammered from traveling. Ben had me go back to the resort and grab his nice clothes. By the time I got lost, couldn't find the key to our room had the management come an open it, change, get lost again on my way back, and arrived, it was 6:30 and the gallery closed at 7:00. oh well, it worked out fine, and it made the 4th a perfect day to relax and enjoy the place! we can't ever go anywhere without some sort of disaster! it's just the way it is with us!



Here are some of my favorite paintings I saw and fell in love with and got inspired by while there. This one Ben painting one afternoon while in Farmington and his parents home, I love the colors, composition, and subject! He called it 40 Days.

This was painted from one of my favorite Russian artists named Vachagan Narazyan. I wish I could pronounce his name! and someday I will own one of his pieces!

These two paintings are from an artist named Nikolai Blokhin. He inspires me to paint again! I love his work!

Mcpherson Reunion

We had a blast at this reunion!, I wish I would have got more photos of this huge and beautiful family that I was so lucky to marry into! especially at the talent show, I was too busy laughing and chasing my kids around! It was Granny's 90th birthday, and she is sharp as a tac!!

BFF!

These two are bossom buddies, and best of friends! one couldn't possibly get their photos taken without the other! Bella wanted to get gussied up too!! and they giggled almost the whole time!!

Sweet Gabby!

I can't believe she is almost 6 years old! she is still so small for her age, but looks so grown up to me in these pictures! Jan wanted to give Danny (my brother) some new photos of Gabby for Fathers day. I have been waiting for an excuse to use my cute chair I repainted and outfits I made, and Gabby was the perfect fit! isn't she adorable! Bella wanted in on the action, so we took some more photos of the two of them, which I will post next.

My Momma's B-day

My lovely Mom had her birthday on Monday and we went up the canyon to celebrate! All my siblings were there except for my brother David.

Carnival heaven!

Saturday was Orem city days, so we met up with Danny, Jan and Gabbers at the carnival. The kids all squealed as they took their place on the rides, and it was non stop until the parade started and then it poured rain and felt like it was January!
p.s. photobucket sucks, so now I am back to posting through blogger and my photos once again look like junk!

Adventure

It was nice to have some time together, just the four of us! Benny took us for an adventure which is one of his specialties! we went up the Payson canyon and found this beautiful little lake! it was raining, so we huddled close in a blanket and watched the rain dance on the water while we had a picnic. The girls decided to join in the dancing and giggled while Ben told them stories. We went on a little trail and Coco almost stepped on a snake, she totally freaked out, it was so cute and a bit sad but when Bella saw the snake she immediately wanted it for her pet and kept saying ahhh it's so cute, look mom, it's so cute! So Ben let her bring it home, and it disappeared somewhere in the yard. Bella was sad, I was a little worried it would make it in the house, and coco was relieved!

Lovely Lady!

She is one of the models Ben used for reference for a new painting he is working on, she just looked too cute and from a different time, I couldn't resist!

Look at what I'm drippin with

Little Girls!!! I got to keep my sweet nieces this weekend while the aunties went to NYC! I was a bit jealous, but it was so fun having our girl party at home! Chloe, Ellie, Gabby, Bella , and Coco are my favorite gal pals, and I have never ate so much junk in one weekend!


We had so many owies happen during this course of four days! Coco's eye is so swollen and bruised in this photo. She got bonked by the swing.

can you say The Little Mermaid ten times fast? that's how many times this show played! but that's not all we did, the happenings included, a trip to Jump On It, The Farmers Market, the Bazaar at Haven Salon to get a Pink hair extension from Jan, The movie Up (which I highly recommend!!), the Provo pool, and of course the park!

Pink icing on Graham crackers made all the owies go away!

Bella's Preschool Graduation

She was so excited to get dressed for her big day! all she could talk about for days was wearing her yellow outfit to graduation! Mrs. Peay's class was full of little tot lets singing the nursery rhymes and each took their turn to be the main character, Bella being Little miss Muffet. It was so super cute! and she was so proud of herself!

Zoo

It was our annual zoo date with Cho, Jack and Jane. We didn't see much because the kids were so into the elephants! we made it to the food court, elephant cage, bathroom, elephants again, bathroom again, and then we happened to catch the little train. but the kids had a blast, I swear I got the swine flu after we got back from the zoo, cause I was siiiiiiick for about 4 days, and that is what started my blog slackage.

Lucy's birthday party

Leah and Geoff threw an awesome party for Lucy turning two. The girls were absolutely enthralled with the bubbles! and I with the food!

my gems!!

I had the opportunity to have the extremely talented Angie Monson from Simplicity Photography take my girls photos. It was supposed to be just Bella, but took some of Olea too which I am super happy with! I love all of them but especially the one of them both!

Quiet time creations

Olea has taken a liking to painting lately! every afternoon she wants to paint with Bella! I just remembered while writing this post that I need to get some more paper, because we are almost out, and that could be bad!

Ben's beard chart

This is quite old, 2 years I think, but it cracks me up every time Ben gets a visit from one of his "bearded friends/models"! They really are great guys! one of these days I need to get a photo of him with all of them! this is part of an episode from "This American Life" called "God's Close up" that aired on ShowTime.

A day at Grandmas

We love going to Grandmas house, the kids can roam free on her big piece of property and play in the grass and in the old cars, jump on the trampoline, swing on the swing set, feed the cows, feed the goats, play in the fields, smell all of Grandmas new soaps and lotions, eat rhubarb crisp, and listen to Grandma and Grandpa tell stories!!
