Happy 5th Birthday Bella!

My Bella turned 5 years old on the 23rd, and she is every bit grown up as a five year old should be! This year she had a party with family and a few friends. She got her Razor scooter from Dad that she has been wanting and waiting for patiently for a while now and she even got pink cupcakes with red sprinkles! I love you, miss Bella!, more than all the flowers in the world!

The party girls!

Bella's first day of school

So I am a week late at posting this, as usual! Bella was so excited to start Preschool for her second year! She is going to center stage, where they teach in addition to regular academics, Tae-Kwon-Do, dance and voice lessons. At first she told me that she did not want to do karate, but after trying it, she loved it! now my challenge is to find something for Olea to do and get excited about while sister is at school!
first day, Bella picked out every detail of what she wanted to wear!

second day, her choice again, why doesn't she want to wear her new clothes?

Corn harvesting

We went to Grandma and Grandpas to harvest some corn from their garden. The girls loved to help, they thought it was a corn carnival with all the different stations. Ben came up with a moto for us,... Pluck it, shuck it, blanch it, and tuck it. First you have to pluck the corn off the stalks, then shuck it off the cob, then boil it (blanch), and finally put it in freezer bags (tuck it). Afterwards we went down the lazy river, next to Yuba lake. I didn't get any photos but we had a grand time! Mom even fell in!
