Every year we get excited to spend the 24th, Pioneer day, in Levan park. As always we eat good food, listen to a good band and watch the kids play, and play, and finish with an amazing firework show!
They had different workshops and game stations for the kids. This was one where they learned how the pioneers washed their clothes. oh joy for washing machines!
My beautiful cousin Jessie and baby Eva Marie
Coco was learning how to hammer a nail. We just about had a smushed thumb!
Miles telling Grandma all sorts of special things!
My man working hard on his iphone.
Uly dancing new wave to the band!
Little Miz Lavender celebrating her 1st birthday!
The very second the band started, Bella took her chair front and center and was entrenched! tapping her foot and bobbing her head. She didn't move until the man who composed the music came up and asked her if she wanted to sit back with him and the band. She was thrilled! he had her using different instruments and she was working the beat! He told me she was very talented with rhythm. hmmmm, maybe us music fanatics sparked something in her.
how cute is that?!

That was such a fun day! We always look forward to it so much. It is such a wonderful slice of Americana.
I love the picture of Ben working. You can see the wheels turning. I can really relate to it because that is the exact same expression, pose, etc that my Ben is constantly in. Here's to becoming Dawn Fitzgeralds!!! :)
Wow! That looks like an amazing day for sure. I can't get enough of Miles, he's sooo cute. It's so fun to see a boy version of your lovelies. Hope you had a great birthday!!
I LOVE IT!!! Do you think you can e-mail me any pics of Lala that you have? Our hard drive crashed and we lost all our pictures after just uploading her birthday ones!!!
