Halloween

Im a slacker! but better late than never. last year I didn't make any costumes and was feeling pretty guilty about it which is silly but I'm weird like that so this year I tried a little harder and made Miles a "Max, wild things" costume. He is pretty Wild these days so it fit him perfectly and he even played the part once he got it on. Olea loves Scooby Doo and thinks Velma is the bomb and with her glasses fetish, she nailed it. Bella couldn't decide what she wanted to be but found this fabulous pink dress at the DI. I wanted to make an antler head piece and she agreed it was cool so she turned into a dancing deer. I think these are my favorite costumes on my kiddos so far, and this Halloween was the best. I loved watching Miles figure out that he could knock on doors and they give you candy. He still talks about Halloween.

Marlee and Tyler

I had the privilege of photographing the extremely beautiful Marlee from The Girl Most Likely and her most handsome husband, Tyler. (Ben's close cousin) They are always fun to hang out with and always have something exciting to tell us, like... Marlee will soon be gracing the pages of the well known magazine, NYLON. As she should be! Keep your eyes peeled!! and, as you can see, the hard part about these photos was picking just a few to post.

Bella's Baptism

It's hard to believe that my sweet Bella turned eight and had the chance to get baptized. She is such a beautiful, talented and sweet girl. She gave me the experience of being a momma and I have learned so much from her. Her baptism day was beautiful. Grams came to town and brought Chloe and Ellie. My Mom was recovered enough from her cancer surgery to come and speak. Ben Baptised and confirmed her a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was glowing all day! I asked her where she would like her photos taken (thinking she would say in the flowers or by a tree) and she chose the Temple. I love this first shot. I hope she always strives to live her life worthy to attend the Temple. She is so lucky to have such a great Dad! These are iphone pictures that were taken following her baptism. We celebrated her birthday afterwards by singing Happy Birthday to her. I was proud of myself for making this ruffle cake at midnight. My sister gave me an easy recipie for fondant and It actually turned out pretty cute.

Remembering Grandma Scarpino

My Sweet Grandma Scarpino passed away at age 89. She was a great example to me in so many different ways. She will always have a special place in my heart and will be greatly missed. We surprised her on her birthday with a song and a cupcake. She was always so happy and cheary when we came to visit her. I will never for get her laugh. My Dad and his wife watching them take grandma not too long after she passed.

Hannah's Bridals

My Little sis is almost to be married. She is so much fun to play dress up with and take pictures of. I love her red hair and green eyes. These are my favorite of her. Her spirit shines through and it is the happiest I,ve seen of her!
